Close to Copenhagen – with nature right on your doorstep
Plushusene in Tårnby are just under 10 kilometres from Copenhagen Central Station and are situated directly opposite Ugandaskoven. The area is within easy reach of schools, nurseries, shops, public transport and leisure activities – and offers plenty of opportunities to get out into nature.
Paths lead on to the surrounding green spaces, including a rainwater park and a nature playground, and Kalvebod Fælled is just a few kilometres away.

Green spaces and outdoor experiences
Directly opposite the Plushusene lies the 11-hectare Ugandaskov, and a short walk from there you’ll find the Ugandavej community gardens.
Just over three kilometres away lies Kalvebod Fælled, which forms part of Amager Nature Park. It is home to a rich variety of plant and animal life and offers plenty of opportunities for walks and outdoor activities. Among other things, the area features the Himmelhøj nature playground, the Amager Nature Centre, Pinseskoven and the option to stay overnight in shelters.
An easy everyday life close by
There are plenty of shopping options in the local area, with several supermarkets within a short distance. Skelgårdsskolen is just a few hundred metres from Plushusene, and there are several other schools in the area.
Everyday life is easy for the youngest children too. Tårnby Municipality has many childcare centres, and two of them are situated on either side of Plushusene.
Good transport links and an active social life
Several bus routes run right past Plushusene, and Copenhagen Central Station can be reached in around 35 minutes by public transport or in about half an hour by bike. Copenhagen Airport is about a 15-minute cycle ride away.
There is also a wide range of sports and leisure activities in the area. At Vestamager Sports Centre, you’ll find, amongst other things, football, badminton, tennis, table tennis, karate, petanque and a swimming pool. In the immediate vicinity, there are also opportunities for horse riding, athletics and gymnastics, amongst other things.
