For families with children, both Lisbjerg School and childcare facilities are located just around 200 metres from Plushusene. The school caters for pupils from Years 0 to 9, with an associated after-school care programme and club. Adjacent to the school are two nursery centres catering for infants and pre-school children.
The local area also offers a range of leisure facilities, including sports pitches and padel courts.
The light rail is located approximately 300 metres from Plushusene and takes you directly to Aarhus. The route passes, amongst other places, workplaces in Aarhus Nord, the university and other educational institutions, and continues on to Aarhus Ø and the main railway station.
If you prefer cycling, it’s about 9 km to Aarhus city centre via the super cycle route. By car, there is also easy access from Lisbjerg to the motorway network.

Lisbjerg is situated high up in the countryside, surrounded by fields, hedgerows and woodland. The undulating landscape offers fine views of Aarhus and Aarhus Bay in several places.
Close to Plushusene lies Lisbjerg Forest, which is ideal for both walks and runs, as well as enjoying nature. Here you’ll find, amongst other things, shelters, a campfire site, a viewing tower and a nature playground with opportunities for climbing, sliding and playing.
